It doesn’t matter what time of year it is, even winter, I love heading to the beach. And this afternoon was no exception.

This afternoon I walked down to Peregian Beach and with the help of my hooded jumper I managed to get a few pics while getting blasted with some cold winds. If you look closely to the left of the photo, you can see the wind blowing the sand up the beach.

The Promisedland MTB Trails is a new mountain bike recreational area located in the Queensland Wide Bay area, at Cordalba. I produced this short video to help promote the local club; Mountain Biking Bundaberg Inc and showcase their new trail network.

Before the sun rose this morning I was able to get some long exposures of the interesting rocks that line the beaches at Noosa National Park.
I had to quickly lift my camera and tripod in the air several times to avoid it getting swamped by the odd large wave that was breaking right where I was standing.

Granite Bay is one of the amazing beaches that you’ll find at Noosa National Park. The whole beach is surrounded by these large rocks creating many opportunities for photography.
I photographed this ravine just as I was about to leave with the warm light from the setting sun lighting the rock walls perfectly.

A strange large ocean buoy washed ashore during the recent bad weather at Peregian Beach on the Sunshine Coast.
I thought I wouldn’t miss the opportunity to grab a photo of it before it gets taken away.

I might be biased in saying it but I think Brisbane is such a beautiful city. Most afternoons the sun melts away so perfectly behind the city and there has been many occasions on my drive home over the Story Bridge that I wish I had my camera to get a pic.
Wilson’s Lookout is one of the most popular locations to get a great shot of the city. I waited for about 45mins until the setting sun was in the right position to turn the clouds pink and by then most of the lights from the city were on.

It was great to find a break in the weather and finally take my DSLR out for some pics this weekened. After driving past the old Boggo Rd jail for work a few times over the last couple of weeks, I thought it would be great to get some pics of it.

Underneath the Gateway Bridge it is surprisingly calm and quiet and a great spot to relax on a cool summer afternoon.
And as the bridge above is busy with traffic down on the river is host to its own commuters making their way up and down the waterway.

Last December I made my first trip to New Zealand for an end of year mountain biking holiday in Queenstown. As soon as I stepped off the plane, I was absolutley in love with this amazing place.
